Gemini Credit Card Review

If you are into crypto, then you have heard about crypto credit cards. There are not a ton of them available yet, but two or three are in the market, including Gemini Card. As someone who owns a Gemini Card, I want to tell you what I think about it.

Most credit cards give you cash back or airline miles. The Gemini Credit Card flips that idea and gives you crypto rewards in real time. That means every time you swipe, you’re earning Bitcoin, Ethereum, or any other coin Gemini supports—instantly deposited into your Gemini account.

Pretty cool, right? No waiting until the end of the month, no transferring points—it just goes straight into your wallet.

But you will have to open an account for the Gemini exchange, and your rewards will be deposited there. I had to sign up for the exchange, but it really is not a con because it is a very easy-to-use exchange with low rates and staking features with high returns.

You could also pick your reward from an array of 64 coins, including ETH, BTC, and Solana. You can change your reward anytime so you don't feel stuck with one coin.

If you are not comfortable with your rewards going up and down in value, it is better to stick with traditional cards. But, ever since I started using the card, I have made a profit on cashback and that is possible by being able to interchange between different coins.

You will also get a metal card on which there is no info such as card number, date of expiration and cvv which makes it harder for fraudulent activity to happen. You can only access your card info in your Gemini exchange account.

In summary, I love the card's design and innovation in rewards and security. I have stopped using my other cards ever since I got this card. This card is great for anyone who believes in crypto. Otherwise, you might need your research on crypto before applying.
